Short Take: Apple announces a GTAK upgrade

Apple Computer announced a new version of its GeoPort Telecom Adapter Kit (GTAK). It adds a telephone, digital answering machine, fax capability, and a high-speed modem to a desktop computer. Users of the original GTAK can download an update from Apple's site. GTAK costs $130 and is expected to ship in the United States by December.
