Short Take: Allen sells Broderbund stake

Paul Allen and Vulcan Ventures sold 1.12 million shares, or a 5.6 percent stake, in Broderbund Software in late July and early August, for $21.25 to $23.38 a share, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Allen is president and director of Vulcan Ventures.
