Short: Mondex, Cybercash development agreement

CyberCash has signed an agreement with Mondex International to integrate Mondex's smart card technology into the CyberCash Wallet, software that handles a variety of payment types over the Internet. Mondex card holders will be able to purchase goods over the Internet securely using their plastic "stored value" card, which contains a computer chip to keep track of expenditures. In the U.S., Wells Fargo Bank and AT&T Universal Card Services will introduce Mondex cards. Wells has begun an in-house test with its employees in San Francisco.
