$15k? Who can afford this?

It's great that these new TV's are being produced, but $15k is way too expensive. For far less you can but a top of the line Apple tower and the large cinema display, which then not only gets you TV but a computer too.

The price of these things needs to come WAY down before it makes market sense.

I'd just buy a projector...

I'd just buy a really good projector that supports quality picture and also allows me to go larger than even the biggest LCD/Plama screen. And yea, these things are soo overpriced right now.

Will the new Sharp 45" LCD tv accept 1080p input and is this new backlighting that being advertised the same as the led lighting in the new Samsung and Sony Quali 005?
