Setting the stage for China's tech future

R&D collaborations with Chinese universities used to feature a lot more development than research, but that's changing fast.

China and US have many enresolved military-economic issues
Keep in mind, I'm a democrat.

China is suffering from a one-party totalitarian government.

China will eventually, by any means necessary, reclaim Taiwan.

China doesn't care about the artificially low value of their currency versus the dollar. Because it attracts capital to their country.

The capital is being used to build factories. Factories that can be re-tooled for weapons. And the profits from which can be used by the state.

The capital is being used to advance themselves technologically. Technology that will be used to put U.S. soldiers (and citizens) in their graves.

When the U.S. dollar loses its relevance, China will have no reason to not invade Taiwan.

When that happens, the U.S. and Taiwan will use every means to defend Taiwan, up to and including nuclear weapons.

Kim Jon Il, is a spoiled brat dictator, the Chinese could take him out in a millisecond. Their continuing support of this brutal dictator shows that the Chinese government doesn't give a rat's XXX about real change for the good of man-kind.

China is using North Korea as a paun. A paun to probe western resolve.

The U.S. is for open multi-party democracy, and the Chinese government is most certainly a one-party totalitarian regime. China knows this, and is positioning itself for a brutal showdown with the U.S. One that could lead to the death of hundreds of millions of people.

If we continue to coddle the Chinese government, we are setting ourselves up for big world war.

re
Why would the Chinese wait until the dollar collapses. What does it matter if they start, what would likely be a nuclear war, when the dollar tanks?

The US is for a "open multi-party democracy"? That would be great, when does the US get that? We are a one party state masquerading as a two party state.

no they wont... you have been drinking

the US wont defend taiwan... in fact they took back the majority of the trigger men... ie the US men who were between the border who would die in an invasion to allow the US to declare war...
