Serious potential embarassment
While this is not necessarily as financially threatening as other breaches lately there could potentially be some serious exposure of personal (private) information. Sims like this require enough information for blackmail etc that could, in turn make it just as horrific for the user as if their financial lives are in jeopardy.

Instead of simply encrypting the financial data of its users, how about they start encrypting ALL customer information. When will companies realize that sensitive data is more than preotecting only ssn's, credit card #'s and other financial assets?

Error correction
>Musicians such as Duran Duran and Suzanne Vega
>have held concerts inside "Second Life."

In fact, Duran Duran has only recently announced their intentions to perform at a date to be named later and Suzanne Vega was interviewed in avatar form in Second Life and sang one song a capella and sang a second song with an acoustic guitar.

It would be more accurate to say she "performed live" in avatar form rather then that she has held a concert.

Acquisitions
Can't say that wasn't expected. As the 3-D web rises in value it's bound to attact nasties. Gotta wonder if such activity is going to speed up the SL acquisition process which could result in millions more for security.
