Seagate subsidiary names new CEO

Xiotech, a subsidiary of storage specialist Seagate Technology that makes networked storage systems, has named Kathy Snouffer president and chief executive officer, Seagate said Tuesday. Snouffer, who had been chief financial officer and later head of operations, replaces acting CEO Larry Perlman.

Perlman will continue as Xiotech chairman.
