SanDisk to supply Samsung with miniSD
Flash memory cards have been shrinking in size while growing in capacity to better accommodate the needs of cell phone makers. SanDisk has been aggressive in targeting cell phone makers with its cards. Samsung holds the No. 3 market share position for cell phone in the world, behind Nokia and Motorola. Phones are gradually incorporating new features, such as digital cameras and video, that require built-in or local storage.
