SanDisk, Sony expand Memory Stick deal
The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based SanDisk and the entertainment and consumer-electronics giant Sony established a relationship in September 2001 to sell Memory Stick cards. SanDisk later worked with Sony to co-develop the Memory Stick Pro cards, which offered higher storage capacities and faster record times. SanDisk has been manufacturing Memory Stick Pro cards under the previous agreement.
