Microsoft and Real with European Union
I would like to comment on the article regarding how Real Networks is saying that Microsoft isn't complying with the court order to strip the MS media player allowing for other systems to compete.

My question is as follows , WHo are the largest stock holders of Real Network ??
One a US congress woman, another is Rob Glazer, and who else ? isn't Mr Bill Gates and some of his friends Owners of Real Networks also ??

Since I understand that this is the case.. Who is the European union , Real and Microsoft Fooling, Either way this is not about looking out for the Users of PC's, it is just another way to make the average joe that something is being done when in reality it is the same people with a
different Hat.

Do governments really believe every one is stupid ? MS does and with their friends at Real they get together and decide what is the next Show for the Ignorant masses. MS and Real work in Tandum to help their own causes. Just like the Republicans and Democrats.
It just prooves the Old saying of , " The Bigger the Lie , the more people will believe it to be Truth "

Who else is in the Media Player Playing field ? besides Real- MS and Quicktime their only semi real rival known to man ?

For your readers the answer is,
a company you can find at
<a class="jive-link-external" href="http://www.MMS.es" target="_newWindow">http://www.MMS.es</a>
Maybe the European Union Should Really Open Competition and Protect European Creations that Surpass both of the mentioned above. Instead of doing th Show for the Big Money Boys Like Real and MS.

So there you have it Readders , MS, Real are not the only ones that can Do Media Players even though, NO ONE ever mentions any others, there are others and Better than, lets see who the Europeans are really protecting.... that would be their own Pocket Book to perform a Ridiculous Show. At the same time that the European Union decides to talk about the Players and fair competition, on that same day the European Union takes a Step back in liberalizing Telecomunications.....

The Public Eventualy gets tired of seeing Blatant efforts to act like they are doing something when they really are not. The Public is not absolutely idiotic, people of the Press Start digging a little for a Story not just in the Halls of Government but in the Basements of peoples homes
which is how Microsoft and Real got Started, why do you not search for some REAL NEWS , not farces meant to keep our minds busy so Polititians and Status Quo continue to be Mediocre at Best.

Real or MS , they are the same beast in bed with other beast like the incoherent European Government.

My Comments are my own personal repulsive reaction on your story about the Eu doing something to protect its citizens interest. Ha Ha Ha !

MS needs to unbundle everything not related to the OS
IE, messenger, wmp, outlook express, everything.

Sure they can put them on the install disk, but make them a sperate optional install.

Everyone will benefit, the industry as a whole, end users and even MS themselves. Seperating this stuff from the OS, will help make the OS a little more inherently secure, and won't make MS such a joke.
