Red Herring hooks $15 million

Tech publisher Red Herring has received a $15 million investment from Broadview Capital Partners, said Brian Hickey, a Broadview spokesman. The investment in the San Francisco-based publication adds to the $28 million Broadview and ZDNet invested in the company early last year. A spokeswoman from Red Herring declined to comment on the amount of funding the company has raised to date and its latest financing from Broadview. CNET Networks, publisher of News.com, is an investor in Red Herring.
