Rearden Commerce provides a range of hosted services for businesses, designed to ease jobs such as booking travel or ordering package shipping. American Express Business Travel is launching an "online marketplace" that will rely on aspects of Rearden Commerce's services, including its online personal assistant for booking travel, the company said. As part of the deal, an executive from American Express travel services will join the Rearden Commerce board.
