Real's Glaser named Air America chairman

Air America Radio on Wednesday said it has named RealNetworks CEO Rob Glaser as chairman of its board. The left-wing talk network also announced it has completed $13 million in new financing as well as a contract extension for host Al Franken.

"Air America has created the hottest new brand on radio, offering some of the most dynamic personalities and programming found anywhere on the radio dial," Glaser said in a statement. The station is broadcast in 11 of the top 20 markets and also on both XM and Sirius satellite services. Franken quipped that he re-upped with Air America "in order to spend less time with my family."

OH MY! 20 stations!
Honestly, Air Amerika is not very good even if you ARE as extreme liberal as the hosts. They were 'pathetic' even 3 weeks after the election. I was personally offended by their bigoted and defametory comments that everyone in between L.A and NYC were a bunch of ignoramouses. I would match wits any day of the week with ANY of the so called hosts on Air Amerika. Problem is, the Air America hosts have none.

Just my 2 cents worth
