Good thing we're free.
Logic?
Common Sense?
All manner of sanity?
Ya just gotta love the American Way. I mean who would've thought that the best way to get your customers to purchase your products would be to sue them? I'm really interested in the outcome though, is it working or not??
Most movies and much of the music these days is just absolutely rotten, so it isn't a surprise to me that sales are declining. When you're peddling uninteresting junk, the only people who bother are hardcore fans and casual P2P'ers.
Get a clue RIAA. Your products are junk.
I am confident that Congress along with President Bush that they will sign a bill that will TOTALLY ABOLISH P2P file sharing someday. As you know somewhere in the world you will STILL be able to get something ILLEGAL if you really look hard enough, unfortunately.....
Maybe the stuff hollywood is putting out is JUNK HOWEVER it STILL has a right to be protected no matter HOW LOUSY it is!
I do think that anyone who uses P2P software KNOWS it is illegal and they should be PUNISHED to the FURTHEST EXTENT OF THE LAW.
To this end, the record sales do suffer and it is with the point you are making YES the FAULT of the artists and directors of movies to put out such trash and that is ALSO a reason that sales are declining.
Good Point!

As an Gospel Artist I am THRILLED to see anyone who STEALS music especially MY MUSIC be faced with a lawsuit and be accountable for their actions.
GO GET EM!

I applaud the RIAA for their actions.
We have become a world of selfish people, that feel it is okay to simply take what does not belong to us, with no thought of being responsible for "stealing".
