Quote of the day: 'Mine your click traffic'

During a panel discussion Wednesday called "Pimp My Site," at the Search Engine Strategies conference in San Jose, Calif., search marketing experts talked about how to put some "bling bling" in Web sites to increase visitor traffic. One piece of advice is to use software to track which parts of sites people visit and which keywords lead to traffic and purchases.

"Mine your click traffic," said Dax Herrera, president of Web marketer WebGuerrilla. "Watching it is more addictive than TV. You can check how your (search) bots are doing." Click here for full story.

Google API - but where are the rest?
Google are making life easier for the internet marketeer by providing a handy SOAP API. With this you can automatically get click reports, then integrate them with your web traffic reporting.

But where are the other providers of CPC marketing? I don't see a free open available API from Yahoo? How come?
