In a New York Times story published Tuesday about movie studios increasingly doing niche advertising on the Web, a Focus Features executive explains how his company targets those who might be interested in conspiracy-based films such as the "The Constant Gardener."

"We looked for the places that sophisticated moviegoers seek out to find things that interest them," said James Schamus, studio co-president. "These are the people who are engaged with the world, who are informed about the big conspiracies going on out there." Click here for full story.

... when someone is trying to peddle crap and BS, rather strange
advertising channels need to be exploited. Maybe we can use ads
on the blog services to point out the items which should be
avoided by rational people.
