Just make prostitution legal
What they need to do is make prostitution legal and a taxed enterprise. The only thing that we have done by making it illegal is to force it underground, where the prostitutes are in danger from all types of bad people.

Were it legal, they would then not be in danger from those bad people, or could get help if they threatened them without having to worry about some overzealous cop or prosecutor trying to put them in prison.

People should...
Be able to sell their sex for money. If politicians and lawyers can sell their souls for a buck and man or a woman should be able to sell their sex for one too.

The difference between a Prostititute and an Politician
A prostitute actually produces a service people are willing to pay for.

Also, a prostitute will take your money and leave you with a smile on your face, a politician will just take your money.

A prostitute is honest.

You get to screw a prostitute, politicians get to screw you.

A prostitute sells his or her body, a politician sells his or her soul.

A prostitute works for ordinary people, cops work for politicians.

Go After the Corporate Whores in the White House!
Police in New York and New Jersey should have alot better things than to go after sex workers. What a disgraceful waste of taxpayers money! Advertising on Craig's List is a great idea and they should be getting rewarded and reinforced rather than hassled and arrested. It keeps many sex workers off the street and less dependent on exploitive, abusive pimps. These entrepeneurs have more redeeming value to society than the majority of worthless politicians in Congress that lick the boots of the Fuerher,GW Bush by starting messy, expensive wars of occupation that kill American soldiers and over a million civilians in Iraq. Let's put things into proper perspective. Who is worse for society? Go after the greedy thugs and war profiteers in White House and Congress and do America a real favor! Sex workers Unite! Overturn legislation that oppresses women (and men) that make a living in the sex industry. I'm sick and tired of Republican hypocrisy! Prostitution needs to be Legal. The real ****** (no offense to sex workers) are in Congress and White House sucking up Corporate lobby money and sticking it to the American people.

Should Be Legalized And Regulated
It seems like legalizing prostitution and regulating it would be a more effective means of dealing with it. Set aside "red light" zones like Denmark does. It's odd that we have a hyper-sexualized advertising industry but then pretend that everyday people don't actually have sex.

Legalization
Why shouldn't consenting adults be able to exchange money for
sex as long as it doesn't negatively affect others?

Once again, legislating morality creates more problems than it
solves.

Government should stay out of private lives and focus on real
problems. Our prisons are stuffed with people who should not
be there, leaving those that should with shortened incarceration
and probation.
