Motorola on Wednesday appointed James Stengel, global marketing officer for Procter & Gamble, to its board of directors.
The handset maker hopes to draw upon Stengel's extensive marketing experience to further promote its brand equity worldwide. Stengel, who joined Procter & Gamble in 1983, is also serving as chairman of the board of directors for the Association of National Advertisers. He also sits on the board of the Ad Council.
