AOLs Numbers have always been suspect

I wonder if they have taken into account the drastic drop in membership over the last year? And considered the fact that each of these represents multiple screen names and email addresses.

AOL provides a useful service for the technonovice, I am sure, but it also has a habit of trying to snow the rest of us with numbers that are, shall we say, self-serving?
