After a summer of reports about quality issues concerning the Xbox 360, Microsoft is set to release the highly anticipated Xbox game Halo 3 next week. CNET News.com reporter Ina Fried discusses what this means for Microsoft.
Antipiracy company MediaDefender had more than 6,000 private internal e-mails leaked to the Web recently, opening the company up to scrutiny of its controversial tactics and exposing the discontent of entertainment execs with the effectiveness of antipiracy companies in general.
And a professor and a grad student at Indiana University say the Bank of America's online banking security is vulnerable to a form of deception known as a man-in-the-middle attack, and they have a demo video to prove that claim.
