PlayStation goes mobile

The PSone, Sony's trimmed-down version of the original PlayStation video game console, will become fully mobile soon with the release of a battery pack. InterAct Accessories, maker of the popular GameShark line of video console add-ons, announced production of Mobile Power One, a rechargeable battery pack that plugs into the PSone.

The unit will power the console and InterAct's Mobile Monitor portable screen for up to 2 1/2 hours. Mobile Power One is expected to be in stores by June priced at $50. The Mobile Monitor is available now at a list price of $150.
