If you care about the future of America and whether or not it remains free, please email your congressman and senator and tell them why this is a bad idea, and you will not support their relection unless they stop this sort of BS.
I think massive recalls all across the country is the only thing that is going to stop our government from trampling our country into oblivion.

Seems like its time for another revolution in the country. I seem to recall us criticizing and destroying the russian governement in the 80's for doing the exact things to its citizens.
These days we are giving more rights to illegal immigrants, and iraquis/afghanistanis than to Americans (And more money i might add. Iraquis are getting new schools.. my kids school has been begging for 3 years for funding to fix overcrowding)
Its time we remind the "elected" officials what that word means.. "FOR THE PEOPLE" to FOR THEMSELVES.

centralization of this type of information is DEFINITELY a good idea.
what are you guys scared of?
do you really think that it's impossible to keep a db secure?
it's not-- it's easy. mySql does a great job with security. and it's free.
SQL Server is a good solution... but it's overkill; and it's not that secure.
GO MYSQL!!!
If so, you might find China suits your tastes a bit better.
