Surely Those Companies Are Smarter . . .

"Those companies expect the new sets to be successful for one reason: price."

come on, just take a look at a typical crt versus any flat panel or projection technology and the crt blows all of them out of the water. surely the companies are smart enough to realize that many of us consumers prefer a bright, contrasty, well-saturated picture to a device that looks "cool" when turned off!
