The Adidas-1 sneakers use a sensor and magnet to feed information to a microprocessor, indicating whether a runner's cushioning level is too soft or too firm. The processor then actuates a motor-driven cable system built into the arch of the shoe that changes the amount of padding applied to a person's foot.

At $250 purchase price, that $2.50 per hour - thats quite high in my opinion. I would expect $250 shoes to last more than 100 hours.

- I purchased this shoes from ebay.com couple weeks ago and now I know that I just spend way too much money for shoes which should be cool but there are not. I feel much better with my Puma Disc for which I spent only $45 + $15 S&H. Do not make my mistake !!!
