Robots mount up for camel races
By 2007, all camel racers in Qatar will be mechanical. This robot receives commands from a remote control up to a half-mile away that delivers four instructions: forward, backward, sideways and whip action, the AP reports.

- Sure not sending kids to their deaths is a good thing but isn't racing supposed to be about the endurance of the rider and animal? Might as well watch the coke cans 'race' during previews at the movies.
