The old: Gateway's E-Series 4300 is an ATX desktop. This venerable design relies on a single chassis fan and, according to the company, locates components such as the processor (under the fan) more rearward and thus in a less ideal area for cooling. The drawback: Airflow is becoming more important as today's higher-speed chips can use more power and thus run hotter.
the first picture is a joke expecting a radical revolutionary I was
interested to see the radical design change. er what change.
No i think this is how they should have done it

No, I am not an Apple employee. Actually, I don't even have a Mac, but have often though about switching.
This is proof positive that Gateway not only sucks AND blows!

...but why the asinine design quirks. The normal right-side access panel has been moved to the left. While this may seem minor, it really serves no purpose. Also, look where the SATA header on the mobo is located... ALL the way in the back. While this wiring doesn't seem to impede airflow, it shouldnt take much extra labor or money to simply use longer cables, with 1/4" wire loom wrapped around.
It's worth a thousand words.
