E-voting in Virginia

As voting got under way Tuesday, electronic voting machines were a notable presence at polling places across the country. The advocacy group Common Cause estimates that e-voting machines are in use in 37 states, sometimes with a paper trail, sometimes without. Here, a pair of election officials supervise voters using the high-tech voting gear at Sinclair Elementary School in Prince William County, Virginia.
