See it Run in Macintoshes
This baby is headed for future Apple products. The Cell has a
G5 core feeding 8 parallel processor cores. It's a floating point
monster 10 times more powerful than current Intel and AMD
CPU's.

As Steve Jobs said to the President of Sony at Mac World - "We're
In!"

For "future" Apple products
Well, guess what? Cell won't be avaliable right away, and I am pretty sure Intel or AMD will have their CPUs running as fast as 4GHz in the near future. Oh, by the way, isn't that Apple users always argue that CPU clock speed does not equal to performance? Now because Cell is supposed to run very fast, Apple users suddenly buy this "clock speed=performance" statement? Wishy-washy, I must say :)

I think that it's a step forward
I think this is a step forward for the whole industry. I anticipate this or similar technology in nearly all computers within the near future.

I wonder if people will ever give up their brand biases?
