The new Scooba from iRobot isn't afraid to get wet. Where the earlier Roomba simply vacuumed, its more complex counterpart is handy with a scrub brush and a squeegee.
So, anyone, how well does it work? What stops it from climbing from your floor to your carpet? What's its view on world peace? And most importantly, does it conform to the 3 Laws of Robotics (or at least a couple of them)?
Ill buy it only if it adheres to the unwritten (but understood) 4th law......Attack all cats and if the other three laws impede progress refer back to rule #4
The Scooba is really amazing. First there's a sensor that detects carpets and avoids them. Then there's an included accessory called the virtual wall that keeps the scooba out of rooms/areas that you don't want it in. Fyi- It also avoids hurting pets like it avoids ramming into walls and it turns off if you pet flips it over. Finally, It has a small water storage compartment but its easy to refill.
