Shooting Robots
by December 2, 2004 3:10 PM PST
It seems that in order to insure that our troops are safe they will need to have embedded micro chips implanted in them, that would be usless when exposed to the air or different blood type, to stop enemies from taking the chips (dna sampling would be even better).
This would insure our troops saftey while not allowing others form stealing the chips.
A nice failsafe would be to have the robot explode upon destruction.

The Right Technology!

These ShootBots would be ideal for deployment in the NYC Subway system! Gernard Goetz was ahead of his time and these robots could make subways safer!

Hmmmmm, sounds just like suicide bombers. I don't know about you, but I fear this in the hands of our enemies more than nukes.

US always has $ to kill people
by February 16, 2005 10:38 AM PST
US always has $ to kill people, but never enough to educate
them. $200million wastesd on "High Tech" star wars defense
system over the last 5 yrs. The last 3 tests were failures-
meaning--inbound nuclear missiles 3 vs. US High Tech 0. The
problem they say is "ground control" i.e. human error. Education
is at fault, the US continually fails to see the importance of
creating smart people. Instead, they just want to kill them.

US High Tech is not foolproof, never underestimate US over-
confidence.

Repeating What We Already Know

This is just like all of those teminator and nuclear war A.I. movies. Sure, we can use these robots to fight wars for us but what makes you think that other people wont get there hands on technology like this. If they sell robots like on "robot wars" then I dont see a reason why terrorists or other radaclists can improve on what the U.S. is supporting: Nuclear winter, Robot WWIII, The Terminator. Instead of making America more intent on trying out their new "toys" we should be improving education and helping those that are poor. Every time I hear that schools or other community projects cant be supported because of lack of funds I know thats a load of bulls***! We have enough money to make run Africa yet we just want to make "wepons of mass destruction".
It looks to me that the govenment cares more about war that it does the people.

You never know the truth until you've been there.

These robots are the best damn thing that we can ever have. I've been to the desert and walked on a few IED's with no robot. Nothing like having the feeling of dieing when you can have a robot do it for you. I've had 2 buddies of mine die because there was no robot. Until you understand to true meaning of robots and what they are for I suggest you start hitting the books and further expand your education.
