Armed with RFID

Joseph Krull, an executive at Flanders, N.J.-based Virtual Corp., had a doctor stick an RFID tag from VeriChip under his skin on Jan. 10. The residual blemish on his arm looks like a mosquito bite.

The US. is being desensitized
The United States has been desensitized by the evil that has proliferated our world we live in. This man needs to understand the implications of what is to come. As crazy as it sounds to some this Electronic ID which has just passed the House of Representatives is just one more step toward desensitizing this world into believing it will be a safer place to live if we just take the chip in our drivers license or just put it under our skin. Although we may not be able to prevent this from being implemented we can pray for an out pouring of the Holy Ghost just as in Acts 2:38. We can pray for souls to be won and eyes to be opened to as what is happening and going to happen to this world. Soon things will change very quickly and there will be a day when our rights will completely be taken from us and we will neither be able to buy or sell unless we have the mark of the beast. I know it may sound so far fetched to many but I pray you will read for yourselves Revelation 14:9 and Revelation 13:16-17 and see what will happen and escape this plan of the mark of the beast by being saved by the blood of the lamb, Jesus Christ who said we must be born of the water and of the spirit. Read John 3:3-8 and then read how to receive the spirit of the Lord in Acts 2:37-39. Pray saints pray!

The sky is falling, the sky is falling
One of the things I notice about news is that the general public grant people and organizations a lot of unmerited authority. Generally, I've noticed that this is the result of these people and organizations sounding an alarm. The public perceives a certain amount of authority. After all who would sound an alarm if they didn't have some authority. In fact, the only real authority are people's fears rooted in their ignorance. Ignorance in itself isn't bad. It just points out a person's need to be better informed. In the vast majority of news cases, and peoples responses I've noted, people simply need to go back to kindergarten and start their learning experience all over again. It seems they missed something along the way to adulthood, namely, common sense.

In the case at hand, Lisa cites scripture. I don't have a problem with that, but before the she starts crying the sky is falling, she should learn more about what the technology can and can't do. A lot of privacy advocates would have us believe, the technology has far more capabilities than it actually does.

As to RFID licenses, its really not such a bad idea. It surprises me how much people fear the possibility of a national identity card. Yet in countries such as Mexico, people treasure their national voter registration cards which contain both a picture and finger print for identity purposes. How many Americans realize, that undocumented or illegal Mexicans prize this national voter registration card above anything other document? To them its better than a driver's license or a passport. It gives them a sense of identity and pride in themselves. Its the first document they provide to the Mexican consular offices throughout the U.S. to obtain, "consular Identification Cards". Yet, if stopped by a a U.S. law enforcement agent, federal or state, its the first thing they attempt to hide so they cannot be identified.

I think its time for the U.S. to join other progressive countries in this ventrue. Yes, I believe the time for an RFID imbedded national identity card/driver's license, even a social security card is here. And the sky will not fall.

Sounds logical in some situations
With the information that would be available to scanners of the arm being self-chosen medical information, this appears to simply be an extension of Medic Alert bracelets and necklaces. Problem is, how would hospitals and medics know to look for a little red dot on an arm? I "run" with a rescue squad and we don't look for inconspicuous red specks as pictured. Perhaps a tattoo should mark the spot? : - )

location location
From what I've read about RFIDS, it won't matter where the chip is located. In addition to Walmart threatening to close a store rather than let their employees unionize, Walmart also has as it's goal to put RFIDs in every product so that a consumer can load up a shopping cart and simply walk the cart out of the store through scanners without ever stopping. The scanner will automatically read every RFID and deduct the total from the consumers account after applying coupons and discounts.

This will allow Walmart to profile each customer so they'll know what you buy, what incentives they might offer each customer, and it will allow them to fire most employees, keeping only stock people. Isn't it great how we support them in their efforts to put people out on the street?

So in your case, you can see that it wouldn't so much matter where the chip in a patient was located so much as it would depend more upon how good your scanner was.

Not for me!
Just think. Someone with an RFID reader can just walk past the guy and gather all the information that's on the chip!

Not for me! No thank you.

US citizens afraid of religious punishment
for having barcode on their back of head, now excuse themselves from the religious punishment by having the RFID on their arm!

personally i think it's a great idea for people with medical diability or risks in case of emergency, or even kids to keep them away from any problems.

but it's the rather lukewarm response from the fundamental right wing conservatives who wouldn't say anything for this ungodly act of betrayal.

RFID CHIPS
We the conservatives(Bible thumpers as we are called) oppose the chips, but our constitution protects us as citizens in the few rights that are left: THE RIGHT TO PRIVACY. Although the RFIDs would prove beneficial in a number of situations(death IDs, medical ect. ) We all know that every piece of advance technology ends up being abused by someone with unethical motives. Subtle reminders: Insurance data bases can deny you medical insurance because of genetic tendancies(all information is available in a national database) Jews were marked and killed because of their race ; shall I continue?? Society unfortunately is governed by humans who do not always make logical, ethical decisions for the WHOLE BODY of people they were elected to govern; We as a society are also forgetting the basis of which our government was established, UNDER GOD.
