Obviously security is going to be a main concern with the media center technology before people open up their homes to this technology. Will this be a main concern and something MS can overcome.. I have my doubts (Glenn, symbianOne.com))
Microsoft spends so much time looking for new revenue streams without fixing the most basic issue: security. Windows Swiss Cheese OS is so loaded with breaches and holes that no ones going to trust it in their homes to run all their entertainment... Until they fix the security issues and the crashes, it's a pointless enterprise.
Why would Microsoft make Windows better? People already buy Windows even though it's horrible. The only time Microsoft would make anything better... is... never! I also don't understand why I would want a computer in my living room. What sense does that make? You could just get Tivo... for a lot less money.
