PeopleSoft announces J.D. Edwards terms

PeopleSoft said Monday that investors tendered 104.8 million J.D. Edwards shares under its offer of $14.74 per share as part of its purchase of the company.

PeopleSoft said J.D. Edwards shareholders who opted to receive cash would get $12.48 in cash and 0.1262 PeopleSoft share for each of their shares. Those who elected to receive stock instead are entitled to 0.8243 share of PeopleSoft for each share of J.D. Edwards that they own.
