PalmSource, a developer of operating system software for handheld computers, announced on Monday that Jeanne Seeley is its new chief financial officer. Seeley fills the position vacated by Al Wood, who left in late 2004 to pursue other interests. Seeley reports to PalmSource's chief executive officer, David Nagel, and is responsible for finance, accounting and investor relations.
Seeley is the former CFO of Snap Alliances, a maker of network attached storage. Seeley has held finance positions at Quantum DSS and Apple Computer.
