Handheld maker PalmOne announced on Tuesday its new chief financial officer. Andrew Brown takes over from Philippe Morali, who was acting CFO after Judy Bruner left PalmOne for flash memory card maker SanDisk in the spring. Morali will resume his former responsibilities as vice president.
Brown will report to PalmOne Chief Executive Todd Bradley and will be responsible for finance and accounting, investor relations, corporate development and information technology. Brown is the former CFO of storage company Legato Systems, which was acquired by EMC in late 2003. Brown also served as CFO at Adaptec.
