Oracle to hand over Ellison e-mail

Oracle agreed on Friday to share CEO Larry Ellison's e-mails concerning its hostile bid for PeopleSoft with its takeover target. Ellison's e-mails, along with other documents to be shared between the two companies, were the subject of a hearing Friday in Delaware Chancery Court. Oracle currently has a lawsuit filed with the court to remove PeopleSoft's policy against Oracle's takeover attempt, known as a poison pill.

PeopleSoft said it expects to begin receiving the first of Ellison's e-mails and other documents as early as next week. But these and the other documents will likely remain confidential and available only to the parties involved, unless PeopleSoft, or another party, makes a motion to unseal them.
