Novell on Friday named Susan Heystee as president of its North American operations. She succeeds Ron Hovsepian, who was recently promoted to executive vice president and president of worldwide field operations.
Heystee will oversee the server software maker's field sales, consulting, channel business, and customer support. She joined Novell in March of last year as vice president and area general manager for the Midwest. Earlier she has worked for SSA Global Technologies and Baan.
