Norway teen's case not over

Norwegian prosecutors will appeal a jury's acquittal of Jon Johansen, who was accused of bypassing DVD anti-copying technology. The country's white-collar crime division, Okokrim, said Monday that it would ask the Borgarting Lagmannsrett court to take up the case.

"This is not unexpected, as the prosecution has flagged this as a case of (principal) interest," Johansen's attorney, Halvor Manshaus, said in a statement. Johansen was accused of violating Norway's computer crime law by helping to create the DeCSS DVD-descrambling utility.
