Battery life vs. video quality
by Quemannn December 7, 2007 2:05 PM PST
Multimedia phones are entering a new phase of the issue of battery life, snce video quality will eat up advantages made in battery technology. As portable multimedia phones won't escape a growing move toward legal bans their use at the wheel and on streets and sidewalks, mobile devices will find a leeway onto vehicle dashtop, enabling convergence of GPS navigators, MP3 video playback, non-proximity mobile payment and 'always on' 12-volt vehicle battery. Can Nokia and other tech giants possibly look around before they leap?
