Newspapers don't make the grade . period!
It has been some time since newspapers were anything but a revue source for their owners. Most of the major papers are owned by a handful of large media conglomerates and 40 to 70% of what is published is nothing PR firm press releases. The local papers are only slightly better.

The real reporters have all been let go. What we get now is infotainment and all the news that is print(ed) to fit. About the only real use for todays' newspapers is lining the bottom of the bird cage or a place for puppy training.
