New version of McAfee Desktop Firewall

Security company Network Associates announced this week version 8.0 of its McAfee Desktop Firewall application for corporate customers. The upgraded product can be configured to prevent any modification to a PC's operating system, which means a user can run in administrator mode and still be unable to change the machine's setup. When used along with the company's McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator, the security software can be centrally managed and monitored.
