New technology on display at Demo 2001

There's one thing almost everyone in the tech industry can agree on: The era of the beige PC has given way to the era of the gadget.

This is good timing for Chris Shipley, executive producer of the annual Demo conference. Her trade show is dedicated to new products and services that are predicted to change the technology industry.
