- Sony has always had a problem with proprietory stuff. Think about it. They always want their share in every market. They don't want to lose out in the music industry, so they make this. They want a piece of the new DVD disc profits, so they go make a Blu-Ray disc to compete with Toshiba's, NEC's, AND Sanyo's HD-DVD format! WHEN WILL SONY LEARN?!?! they have so much going for them already...
