New Corel license covers graphics apps

Software maker Corel announced a new licensing plan Wednesday for its graphics applications. The new Freedom Graphics License provides access to all of Corel's main graphics applications--including CorelDraw Graphics Suite and specialist tools such as Painter, KnockOut and Grafigo--for a single fee. Pricing is $245 per seat, with a minimum of 250 seats.

Graphics is one of the core markets Corel has focused on in restructuring as a privately held company, following a $98 million buyout by venture capital firm Vector Capital.
