Nascar signs video deal with Apple

Speed demons Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart and Kurt Busch are coming to iTunes, as Nascar announced Friday that it will offer race highlights and behind-the-scenes footage through the music store.

The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing is the latest sports-related content that Apple Computer has landed for iTunes. Already, iTunes offers shows from ESPN, including highlights from the cable station's X Games and the 2006 Winter Olympics. Other pro leagues, such as the National Hockey League and National Basketball Association, have yet to offer video downloads on the site. The NBA, however, is offering replays of games at Google's video store.
