- Whether Motorola offers music on their cell phones, makes no difference because it comes down to the bottom line. And the bottom line is based on the carriers discretion. The provider can and does limit what those telephones can or cannot do, no matter what the telephone's actual capability is. One example is TracFone. The color camera capable phone that I have is also supposed to be able to browse the Internet. However, TracFone's idea of browsing the Internet, is to only be able to go to TracFone's web site to buy their products. I have no plans of doing that! Shortcut words to access certain MMS functions, are not allowed with TracFone. Getting music, is just a farce with my carrier. I can't even download dial tones, unless they come from TracFone. So if you get a music capable cell phone, make sure that your carrier will allow you to use all of the phone's capabilities, or you will be wasting your time and money.
