very powerful. It is exciting to see a label of note utilizing this
space. I think that it would be very "myspacey" to focus on the
core of the people who built their site..... the indies.
We have a fully-functioning label/marketing/distribution/safe
house for indies, that mirrors what Interscope is trying to do
with myspace. So, I ask this question of myspace: "why not use
your size, combined with the coolness of your users, to really
change the industry"? It's already out here waiting. A fully-
functioning, independent distribution network that covers all
three major forms of legal distribution. We would be happy to
use our programs to bring those deserving indies to those same
shelves, it's what we do.
They need to concentrate on the independent artist who have the talent and songs, and whom otherwise get ignored by the majors.
I hope I'm getting it wrong, but mySpace has a great opportunity to capitalize on their popularity.
Let's hope for the best.
I just wish it won't become a another corporate monster that doesnt give a **** about us struggling artists.
Thats my 2cents...so if you want to check out one of the many cool undiscovered talents go to our myspace... enjoy!
