More AirTran flights to offer XM radio

Passengers aboard 20 AirTran Airways planes will soon have more options to while away their time. The Las Vegas-based airlines has expanded an existing deal with XM Satellite Radio, whose service is now available on three AirTran planes. The expansion is expected to be done by summer.

Passengers can either carry personal headsets or purchase them aboard to access the radio service, which offers more than 100 channels of music, news and sports. The companies have also roped in pop superstar Elton John, who on Tuesday unveiled a model aircraft that carries his image to mark the occasion.
