Go get 'em Microsoft --- You're my friend
Microsoft is my friend. Who else goes after the spammers like this?

Microsoft ROCKS!

Yay Microsoft
Though I often have a deep seated distrust of any concentration of power as large as Microsoft, it's cool to see 'em go after the spammers. Go get 'em Bill.

But Who Gets the Money?
Well, MS gets the money. Is this another market for them to
make money from? What will they do with the money? Why
should they get the money, when it is us the consumer, that is
being hurt by the spam?

Microsoft gets the cash, but only for their own losses
If you and I could afford the legal battle and prove we were harmed by the spammers, we could also sue them. Microsoft will probably sue for damages resulting from loss of bandwidth, e-mail storage space on their servers, etc.

Too bad we haven't filed class action suits. icrosofts claims will probably send them into the dirt before we ever get ours.
