MS should use it's usual approach....

.... use the corporate dollar stockpile, pay the fine, cover the costs,
buy off the complainer, and continue without interruption. After all,
who is any court to tell MS what to do??????

Easy solution

All MS has to do is stop selling Windows to the EU for about 2 or 3 months...
By the end of that, they will be BEGGING them to allow ANY version (bundled with or without Media Player) to be sold within the EU... This is a completely rediculous lawsuit in the first place...
MS should friggin HAMMER them!!!

That'd just speed up the adoption of Linux or encourage piracy of Windows and other MS software, both of which Microsoft doesn't want.

Dude, don't let your love for Bill Gates cloud your vision. If MS
were to do what you propose, they would lose all of Europe period.
